Inspiration

Pakistan has millions of home-based sellers running businesses entirely on WhatsApp with no system, no order tracking, just chaos. They needed a solution with zero learning curve. So I asked: what if WhatsApp itself became their business system?

What it does

BizChat lets sellers manage their entire business through chat in any language they're comfortable with: Urdu, Roman Urdu, English, or even a mix.

Every message is processed by an LLM that extracts order details (customer name, product, quantity, price, payment method) and converts it into structured data automatically.

  • "Sara k liye 2 suits, 3500, COD" - order instantly logged
  • "Show pending orders" - clean summary in seconds
  • "Mark Sara as delivered" - status updated immediately
  • Orders appear in the dashboard in realtime with no page refresh needed

No forms. No buttons. No language barrier. Just chat. Order Dashboard Real-time table of all orders with status badges (Pending, Out for Delivery, Delivered, Cancelled). Supports inline status updates with live sync across all open tabs.

Delivery Tracker (Kanban Board) Visual pipeline: Pending → Out for Delivery → Delivered. Move cards with one click.

Customer Analytics Automatically ranks customers by total spend. VIP badges for repeat buyers. Identifies the most-ordered item per customer.

Invoice Generator One-click PDF invoice generation with itemized tables, totals, and PKR formatting. Save as Draft or mark as Sent.

Order Exceptions Dashboard Separate tabs for:

Pending Price Review — orders where the price was never finalized Delayed Orders — past delivery date but still Pending Cancelled Orders — archived view for reference WhatsApp Automation

Customers message the seller's Twilio WhatsApp number → order is extracted and saved automatically Seller replies with commands: delivered Ali, pending, summary, cancel Sara Daily WhatsApp summary sent automatically at the seller's preferred time System Diagnostics Built-in health checks for Twilio credentials, webhook status, and connectivity — all from the Settings page.

How we built it

Built entirely with MeDo with zero code written. I described each feature in plain language and MeDo generated the full application.

The core innovation: every chat message is sent to an LLM which parses it and returns a structured JSON order object regardless of how it was phrased or in which language. This JSON is then saved to the order database automatically.

Challenges we ran into

The trickiest part was prompt engineering the LLM to reliably extract order data from messy, mixed-language input. Pakistani sellers naturally mix Urdu, Roman Urdu, and English in a single sentence. The LLM had to handle all of it gracefully and return clean, consistent JSON every time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • LLM-powered multilingual order parser that works in Urdu, Roman Urdu, English, and mixed language
  • Zero lines of code, built entirely through MeDo
  • Solves a real problem for Pakistan's home-based micro-entrepreneurs
  • Any seller who can type a WhatsApp message can use BizChat instantly

What we learned

Combining LLMs with no-code tools like MeDo unlocks something powerful. You can build real AI-powered applications just by describing what you need. The barrier is no longer code, it's ideas.

What's next for BizChat

  • Real WhatsApp Business API integration so sellers never leave WhatsApp
  • Voice message support, speak your order and LLM transcribes and extracts
  • Customer profiles and order history
  • Payment tracking with automatic reminders
  • Expand to other South Asian languages
