Inspiration

As an aspiring business owner, we hope to be able to grow and maintain our business without being affected too much by our low brand image and outreach compared to existing players in the market.

What it does

Unlike platforms such as LinkedIn where it is for business image establishment purposes and Facebook for advertising purposes, our platform aims to create a community for businesses to communicate, be personal and share their various ideas, products, and services with their customers. We can achieve this form of interaction in the B2B and B2C market by allowing businesses to conduct podcasts and live demo on our platform.

Imagine if the founder of a new product will be able to speak directly to their audience via the podcast or do a live demo. This will give early users much more confidence in a new product, thus allowing SMEs and start-ups to easily increase their brand recognition, which is a differentiating point of our platform from existing ones such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. Furthermore, our platform can also be used to help SMEs and start-ups in B2B market, which is valued 6 times more than the B2C market, thus giving us tremendous growth and opportunities there.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, CSS, JS, PHP and SQL (raw).

Challenges we ran into

Time is tight as the amount of code we need to write is relatively large, since we are building it from scratch and want to demonstrate some of the technical features of our application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to build a web application prototype in less than 12 hours. We believe that we have found the solution to give SMEs and start-ups a fair competitive chance against existing competitors in their respective industry.

What we learned

We learnt that tight collaboration in coding is very important or else it might be impossible for us to finish our prototype in 12 hours.

What's next for Biz

Making demo videos as realistic as possible by implementing 3D broadcasting and Virtual Reality. We also hope to target SMEs and start-ups in 3rd world countries to allow them to be easier to reach their target market globally.
