Inspiration
Most crypto wallets? Either way too complex or dumbed down to a joke.
So we thought: what if a wallet was smart? Like, actually smart.
BitSim was built to combine wallet functionality with AI market analysis, making it easy to store, track, and understand your crypto — all in one place.
What it does
BitSim is an AI-powered Bitcoin wallet simulator.
It lets users:
- View simulated BTC balances
- Analyze market trends with AI help
- Get insights without touching real crypto
⚠️ Disclaimer: BitSim uses simulated BTC data only. It doesn’t connect to real-time crypto markets or handle real funds.

How we built it
BitSim was handcrafted using:
- React / Next.js for the front-end
- Custom AI logic for simulating market insights
- Simulated wallet data and mock balances
- Vercel for super-fast deployment and hosting
Code's all open on GitHub: reality20/BitSim
Challenges we ran into
- Making the wallet feel legit while running on fake BTC
- Balancing AI feedback with clean UX
- Debugging layout and state issues
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Built a wallet simulator that’s actually useful
- Integrated AI that gives real-time-ish insights
- Got it live on Vercel, no install required
- Learned a LOT from the bugs and weird UI quirks
What we learned
- Mobile-first ≠ mobile-friendly unless you test it hard
- AI in finance tools? Super promising if done right
- Building with simulated data for demo is safer — and smarter
- Good design is like 90% of the battle
Debugging is HARD
What's next for BitSim
Fixing mobile layout issues and improving responsiveness
Hooking in real BTC APIs (cautiously and securely)
Adding mock portfolio tracking and performance history
Integrating AI alerts for simulated price swings
Making the app feel less like a beta and more like a real one
⚠️ BitSim is still in dev. Expect bugs, glitches, and some cursed layouts.
