Bitscan 3d

Inspiration

I am inspired by the idea monetising 3d data for ai agents so that ai can become more adept at understanding 3d while providing tools for people to monetize that data in the market to pay for obtaining it.

What it does

This app allows you to pay for a 3d 3D-generated object created from standard phone images without needing complex and expensive lidar equipment.

How we built it

I vibe coded this in replit. This is my first app ever.

Challenges we ran into

Vibe coding is hard when you have never done it before so there was a lot of learning prompts. However, ai also proved to be an excellent learning tool.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning howto connect to the 3d model and the best scanning procedures will help me push forward in becoming knowledgeable about the future of tools in 3d design and data collection

What we learned

that the type of images uploaded and size impact scan quality- users may need more tools built out for the app to be easy to use

What's next for Bitscan 3d

perhaps working on easy to use interfaces for ai agents would be a next step. Also enabling scans of larger areas with a work flow that makes sense for that use case
