Inspiration

Mother of 5 kids. IT-Specialist.Try to get class room conditions to enable working on school documents. Sharing Web know how.

What it does

We supply online meetings with class members. Sharing information online. Invite kids to learn IT skills and handle internet connection carefully.

How I built it

Created own Website. Facebook Business Website and group for Community. Searching for DSGVO conform Platform.

Challenges I ran into

How can I reach more children? Where may I get equipment for them to join us? Do I have to consider any legal requirements except from data protection?

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

A lot of likes but no help so far. But also happy children (especially girls) working on MINT Projects.

What I learned

To comunicate with simple words to reach children and parents. Several new ways of online communication.

What's next for Bits4Kids Neu Wulmstorf

Collaboration with elementary school, teacher and parents. Test common ways of online MeetUps and Videoconferences to reach our school kids and students. We are working on our online website and try to reach every single child, offering them support and equipment.

Pupils with low budget should be able to paticipate on online Schooling. We try to implement an App or online Plattform to get Computer for free to those pupils. And we try to combine that service with online school Plattforms, because there we allready have classes with need. So we bring need and offer together.
