Inspiration

Bitcoin is the most trusted digital asset, yet it lacks the rich DeFi ecosystem seen in other blockchains. We were inspired to bridge that gap by combining the security of Bitcoin with cutting-edge tools like exSat, sBTC, and Rebar to unlock new financial possibilities — all while focusing on accessibility, education, and user experience.

What it does

Bitcoin-Hub is an all-in-one DeFi dashboard that empowers users to engage with programmable Bitcoin, analyze real-time data, manage real-world assets, and learn through gamified tutorials. It integrates cross-chain tools, ensures privacy through Rebar Shield, and provides a sleek, responsive UI for seamless access across devices.

How we built it

We used: exSat for metadata consensus and transaction verification sBTC (Stacks) for enabling smart contract support on Bitcoin Rebar Data & Shield for real-time analytics and privacy-focused routing React.js with TailwindCSS for the frontend Three.js for the 3D blockchain explorer Chart.js and D3.js** for interactive visualizations Node.js backend to coordinate APIs and asset management We ensured the entire platform remains responsive, accessible, and visually stunning with consistent design tokens and micro-interactions.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating multiple Bitcoin layer technologies without compromising performance Implementing secure cross-chain interactions, especially with metadata synchronization Designing a 3D blockchain explorer with real-time updates Balancing powerful features with an intuitive UX for both beginners and advanced users
