Inspiration
Gmail has more than 1.5 billion monthly active users, which is 20% of the global email market. 61% of those account owners are between 18-29 years old. 60% of mid-sized US companies use Gmail and 31.92% of US startups use Gmail. Google is a huge service provider attending a huge market with an amazing portfolio including the powerful search engine, youtube, calendar, maps, my business, meet, drive, among many others. However, the last time Google and Bitcoin appeared together was in 2014 when 5 million Gmail login passwords were leaked in a Bitcoin forum based in Russia. Besides, most of them were expired accounts. What we will do is to reconcile these two powerful platforms, leveraging Google with the power of Bitcoin while Bitcoin takes advantage of the popularity of Google. In the way, the user's experience will be boosted unprecedently.
What it does
Anyone having a google account will be able to create a Bitcoin key pair (so a bitcoin wallet), see the UTXOs, send and receive bitcoin, send proforma invoices using bitcoin or SmartNotes as mean of exchange. Create a SmartNotes keypair and manage it. Create value tokens (contracts, futures, certificates) and transfer the property. Create and upload documents to the Metanet. See it all from their account.
How I built it
Actually under construction... everything is to be done.
Challenges I ran into
We need to create the connections and functionalities, to make it intuitive, so friendly, and easy to understand.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Not yet, but I will be.
What I learned
A lot of stuff...
What's next for Bitcoin Connector
A whole world of new applications to build and integrate based on this, but mainly, we want to build agreements to make these tools available and very easy to integrate with other Google tools.
