About Bishop

Bishop is a custom voice assistant built on a Raspberry Pi 5 designed to integrate seamlessly with an open source Home Assistant setup. Using the Wyoming-Satellite protocol, it supports a custom wake word and facilitates control over smart devices like lights. While Bishop can receive voice commands, it can also be controlled via the Home Assistant app using a LLM chatbot. The LLM is hosted locally on a computer and integrated into Bishop via Ollama.
