Inspiration

  What gave me the idea of creating this project was, As a person with terrible memory, I often forget my friends' birthdays, leading to issues like forgetting to get them gifts and writing note cards. Using the application I created I will never forget any of my friend's birthdays again.

What it does

  This application allows you to add a friend to the app and enter their birthdate.

How we built it

  I built it using Java.

Challenges we ran into

  Challenges I ran into were probably trying to re-iterate the loop into continuously asking you to enter another friend's birthdate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  Accomplishments I'm proud of are overcoming the biggest challenge I had which was listed above.

What we learned

  What I learned was remembering your friend's birthday is very important for your friendship because it shows you truly care about them.

What's next for the birthday tracker

  What I will try to do next for the tracker is add more variety than just being a tracker. For example, I will try to add spaces where you could enter your friend's favorite hobbies, sports they play, activities they enjoy, etc. What this will do is give you an idea of what type of gift you would give your friend when their birthday nears.
