A new way to search

Problem: You see a bird, and you want to know more about it… but how do you find information on something you don’t know anything about?

Introducing Birddex!

Birddex is a scanning app that uses Microsoft’s Custom Vision API to identify species of birds for you.

Where we see this going

With the help of the open source community, Birddex can expand into identifying and distinguishing everything from insect and plant species to car models and brands.

So…what use is this?

We want to provide a way for people to search for information when they don’t know specific details needed for text-based search engines
