The inspiration for this project came from the problem of massive insecurity and kidnappings in Nigeria.

The system behind this project basically works as a surveillance + intelligence tool, which gets data via satellite/security cameras on areas prone to kidnapping and sends all data to Bird's eye, which then analyzes the system and updates the agents/police on ground for swift responses to the problem.

The system uses simulated video feeds and GPS to collect location and surveillance data, which is processed by a Node.js backend and displayed on a React dashboard using the Google Maps API for real-time monitoring and response

The main challenge we ran into was working within limited time to build a functional prototype with reliable alerts, but we're proud that we were able to demonstrate how technology can be used to improve response time to security threats.

We learnt how mapping and location services can be used in security and emergency response systems, also what we have in mind planned for Bird's eye is to integrate real CCTV or drone camera feeds instead of simulated dat
