Biove - is a service that allows pharmaceutical companies to certify drugs and helps ordinary people check medicines for originality. Biove is a company created to protect pharmaceutical companies and ordinary people from counterfeiting. Using the latest blockchain and nft technologies. Biove is a closed, secure network that provides companies with the ability to monitor their products and give them confidence that their products will not be counterfeited. Also, the company does not forget about the ordinary user, we have developed a convenient system of qr codes that allows any person to verify the originality of his medicines. Biove is a tool that in the hands of a smart person becomes a weapon to destroy counterfeit.

🔨 How we built it

Primarily, Biove - service based on Amazon Managed Blockchain and others Amazon Services. We decided to apply these technologies to build our solution cause they are easy to use and cheap also. Blockchain technology (network) helps to create an advertising certificate every time the creator of the network wants it. For the implementation of Biove, the choice of Ethereum to create NFTs with ERC-721 (standard tokens with the Ethereum smart contract network) is chosen. Each ERC-721 token is different from the others - it has a characteristic - thus, it is possible to create a lot of QR codes with tokenized certificates, i.e. NFT, then stick them on pill packages. how-does-it-work Using NFT as an identifier for real products is the best option, since the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) itself is an asset binding to a specific owner, therefore, in Biove, the pharmaceutical company will be the owner, and consumers, in turn, by scanning a QR code, will be able to receive confirmation that these products are manufactured by the company, and not by fraudsters. Using HTML & CSS we built prototype of this service.

During the use of the service, many strengths of Biove can be identified. For example, for a pharmaceutical company, this would be:

We had to learn a lot to create the prototype, as well as deepen our knowledge in some areas, such as Figma, to create a good user interface. A prototype was also created in HTML and CSS, a dashboard was also connected for companies to view statistics on certificates, NFTs and so on in the future. We also had to figure out a technology that was new to us, but very important for Biove - blockchain. Many types of blockchain were considered and Ethereum was chosen.

We are proud of the work done because the project is entirely and completely created by ourselves. We developed a technology that works not difficult, implementation is inexpensive, and efficiency is great.
