Inspiration Believe it or not, our inspiration was Pokémon go, because the game brought people outside of their homes into the city and the park, which is exactly what we want our project to do.
What id does Our project encourages people to get outside by completing real-world nature quests. For example, a quest might ask them to find three pink flowers. They’ll find them, take a photo, and submit it. Our AI will then evaluate whether the image matches the quest description. If it doesn’t, the AI will explain why. If it does, the player earns points that are added to their point bank.
How we built it We used javascript, css, and html for the front-end, and python for the backend. We also used Claude to give the project a finishing touch.
Challenges we ran into We had been struggling with getting our project together in time, since we finished our parts at different times of each other. We got through it by helping and encouraging one another.
What we learned We learned that it is important to stay positive, even in stressful situations.
What's next for Untitled We plan to add more quests to complete, and make the game more interactive by adding mini games. Not only that but we also wish to add things like a map and spawn points for said quests similar to our inspiration.
