Inspiration- As my brother with Down syndrome scrolled via a listing of mundane obligations, his hobby waned with each passing object. But amidst the monotony, a random quote leaped out, igniting a spark inside him. Inspired by means of its message of empowerment, he resolved to take price of his existence, determined to discover meaningful paintings and pursue his goals.
Witnessing his newfound determination, I was moved to action. Recognizing the transformative power of proposal, I embarked on a challenge to create a easy code that might deliver day by day a laugh facts to uplift and interact individuals of all capabilities. Through this enterprise, I wish to spread joy, curiosity, and a feel of possibility to individuals who need it most, simply as my brother's adventure has inspired me.
What it does- Our code delivers a every day dose of pleasure for budding young scientists, catering mainly to the energetic minds and shorter interest spans of younger children. With vibrant visuals and interactive factors, each fact is offered in a fascinating way, ensuring that getting to know stays fun and attractive. By sparking curiosity and fascination with the wonders of biology, our code conjures up a lifelong interest in technological know-how, planting the seeds for future exploration and discovery inside the minds of the following generation.
How we built it- We split our work and assigned each person a key role in the development of the code our lead programmer Justin really took the initiative working hard to make sure that we succeed.
Challenges we ran into- One of our greatest challenges setting up a timer that would run this code on repeat so that the children would receive their fun fact on time and in a routine way.
Accomplishments that we're proud of- We're proud that we were able to come together and work on our first coding project together and actually create a working prototype.
What we learned- We learned how to properly delegate tasks, what it's like to have freedom while we code out own project, and how to manage ourselves so that we can ensure our own success.
What's next for Biology Trivia- We hope that we can continue to better our code.
