Inspiration
UCI Cardiostart inspired our group. After completing the program we were intrigued with how we incorporate biology/medicine with engineering.
What it does
It predicts Breast Cancer Diagnostics and offers free virtual MRI and CT scanning as a futuristic technology
How we built it
First we learned the basic building blocks in our machine learning model. We had to learn new python libraries, and had to go through the 4 step of our model very slowly. After completion we had to tune our model to best predict the resulting diagnoses
Challenges we ran into
When we were coding the model we really had to tune our model according to the data. Without tuning and adjusting our model is would have been really difficult to improve our Machine Learning Model
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are most proud of the 2 images that we created from ImageJ/Fiji and the 98.24% accurate Machine Learning model that we created as our final product.
What we learned
We learned to implement advanced coding through Machine Learning in the Medical Field. It was really interesting to see how easier life is getting from creating new advances in various fields. Through machine learning we can really make a change in how we view the world
What's next for BioFusion.mddoc
We hope to finish coding the rest of the Machine Learning Models and integrating the virtual MRI, fMRI, and CT diagnostic tools and hopefully start a company.
