Inspiration
The inspiration for this project was nature. To build a project that inspires the collaboration between humans, tech and nature.
What it does
The application allows users to render AI generated questions from research papers they find interesting regarding conservation ethics. The user can then work through the questions, and plan conservation management methods that address ethical dilemmas in conservation biology
How we built it
We used Python, Flask, Canva, CSS and HTML to build the web application.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge we ran into was time, as the project turned out to be bigger than we anticipated as beginners.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The biggest accomplishment was being able to integrate the AI and seeing it work [albeit some glitches]
What we learned
Time management, responsibility delegation and communication were the biggest learning points, as collaboration could have gone more smoothly if we paid better attention to these areas.
What's next for Bioethical Banter
We want to smooth out some bugs, add more functionality, like allowing users to save their work. We also want to improve the CSS implementation for styling to better match the Canva designs
