InspirationIn rural and semi-urban parts of India, access to specialized healthcare is a massive bottleneck. While primary health clinics and local pharmacies exist, specialists like pathologists or senior physicians are hours away. Patients often walk out of clinics with handwritten prescriptions they cannot read, or diagnostic test reports they cannot understand, leading to critical delays or accidental medication mismanagement.
We built OmniMed.AI to bridge this gap. Inspired by the Multimodal AI Hackathon 2026, our goal was to create a lightweight, easily accessible web dashboard that acts as an intelligent assistant for both frontline healthcare workers and patients. By combining complex visual data with natural language processing, OmniMed.AI turns messy, real-world medical inputs into clear, actionable, and structured summaries.
