In U.S., ~26 million Neurodiverse teens (ages 13–18) need helps with interception and social sense against their sensory struggles.

Wear BILLION smart glasses to recognize sensory triggers and reduce sensory overload.

Design process is messy; communicating conceptual ideas are difficult; team consensus requires constant communication.

Adopts Chakra design system 3 for icons and symbol over its simplicity and consistency Implemented Z pattern design layout for storytelling about our product Applied Gestalt design principle to simplify information organization on Figmake

What we learned

Despite the simplicity of design outcome, designing for neuro-diverse user population took us through very comprehensive design considerations. It's most helpful to interview audiences early and frequently.
