Inspiration
WebVR is a great technology to connect people in an immersive way. Exploiting this combination of Internet and Virtual Reality, we came up with Bill vs Apple, a multiplayer online VR game.

What it does
In the gameplay, Bill lives in a world where apples are flying towards him from all directions. Bill has to use his Lightsaber to kill the apples that attack him.
How we built it
The game is built by WebVR(Babylon.js), with javascript and node.js.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenges that we encounter is that we the multiplayer game is functional on Chrome, and the VR is functional on IE. However, none of the browsers support both multiplayer and VR.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are really proud that this is the first time we use Babylon.js and try to play with WebVR. The result is really exciting and we are excited to explore more. Especially for one of our group member that does not have much programming experience before, she is very happy about what can be achieved in such a short time.
What we learned
We learned a lot about how to create a VR game and also how to use camera movements, how to create a virtual stick that looks like a Lightsaber. We also get a lot of help from people around, about how to make a 3D character in Blender and give it texture.
What's next for Bill vs Apple
We would like to publish it and make it open source so that more people can join and develop it in different fun ways.
