Inspiration

The inspiration behind StudBud AI stemmed from recognizing the need for a comprehensive and user-friendly study tool that leverages AI technology to enhance the learning experience for students and learners of all levels. We wanted to create a platform that integrates various study aids such as MCQs, timed quizzes, and flashcards into one cohesive solution, making studying more efficient and effective.

What it does

StudBud AI is an all-in-one study companion app powered by artificial intelligence. It provides users with access to a wide range of study materials, including multiple-choice questions, timed quizzes, flashcards, and more. The app utilizes Gemini to personalize study materials, tests, and provide real-time feedback to help users optimize their learning experience.

How we built it

We built StudBud AI using React Javascript library along with Gemini API. The app sends a prompt to the Gemini API. The app's user interface was designed using modern UI/UX principles to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across different devices.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we encountered during the development of StudBud AI was fine-tuning the AI prompts to accurately generate the desired results and parse each result to show the generated response to the users in the form of flashcards or MCQs, etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have successfully developed StudBud AI into a robust and feature-rich study companion app that addresses the diverse needs of students and learners. We worked collaboratively to overcome technical challenges, implement innovative AI-driven features, and deliver a high-quality product that we believe will make a positive impact on education.

What we learned

Through the development of StudBud AI, we gained valuable experience in AI integration, frontend and backend development, UI/UX design, and project management. We learned the importance of user feedback and iteration in refining product features and enhancing user satisfaction. Additionally, we deepened our understanding of the complexities involved in building AI-powered applications for educational purposes.

What's next for StudBud AI

As part of the next phase, we plan to improve response time and user experience, store session data for users to go back to their study material, provide analytics as well as an "Ask me anything" corner where users can ask their doubts or questions and get their queries resolved instantly.
