Inspiration
Aden loves biking, but he loves sharing his biking journeys with people more. If only he had a tool to connect him to nearby bikers and effectively share his rides with other avid bikers!
What it does
BikeHub has many tools but it's main feature is ride coordination/documentation using real time analytics and sharing journeys with location based biker hubs.
How we built it
We made a web-app that gives bikers direct access to the tools. It has account creation and bike rental services alongside a real time map.
Challenges we ran into
We didn't get to implement much of the tools including the main feature into the app due to the time limit. Also setting up the project immediately was a challenge as we were not very familiar with web/app design.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Despite not having much experience in web/app development we made an attractive base website that we believe we can continue to work on.
What we learned
We learned a lot about file management and responsive web design.
What's next for BikeHub
Hopefully a working prototype and maybe even a deployable app.
