Inspiration

Bignoodle started as an ordinals collection (HIROS) whereby we inscribed instructions for reliably creating high-res gen-AI images without need for storage. A simple text inscription is capable of extremely high quality images, video, deep research and much more. After minting out in record time, this project was created to platformize our learnings and expand it into a web2 business on Bitcoin. We have a strong interest in bridging web2 use cases to Bitcoin, and AI is certain to disrupt MANY sectors so it tops our list of opportunities to build.

What it does

Via an extremely friendly and intuitive UI, we offer many integrations (over 400) on our no-code agentic authoring platform as well as easy access to common AI consumer use cases running from our depin. This includes generative images, video (both with agent-as-a-judge for quality control), deep research (like Manus and OpenAI's $20k monthly Operator), and much more. Additionally, we give each agent a wallet and a virtual windows PC - we will use MCP to control the majority of boomer apps which are not ai-enabled. All this is done in an immutable and trustless way. Every agent is an ordinal, and can be considered valuable via the training/skills an owner applies - creating a new economy around skills training.

How we built it

Bignoodle heavily leverages the indexing of the TAP protocol on Bitcoin and DMT, ideated by Youtubers The Blockrunner. On the AI side, we largely use Python. We've dockerized all of our features which can be spun-up and controlled via our dahboard. All the compute intensive tasks are offloaded to our depin which supplies compute and acts as our TEE (trusted execution environment).

Challenges we ran into

We're committed to the position we aim to hold in the AIxCrypto landscape. One challenge however, is that we'll likely be compared to Virtuals (Sol and Base) and Ai16z (999largely on Sol). Many devs are unaware that serious building can occur on Bitcoin. We found this to be a challenge in our initial outreach and marketing. We've decided to lean into this and use the lack of understanding as a strength. We'll evangelize "Built on Bitcoin" every step of the way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our first accomplishment of eliminating a need for storage by inscribing AI workflows as plain text (and using recursion) was a huge win, it literally re-wired our thinking, leading to this project. The north star now, to use this inherent capability of bitcoin inscriptions to create a new immutable and trustless ecosystem of AI gents and skills for a new web2 audience.

What we learned

Modular is king! It took a bit of work to make everything behave when features are sourced from individual docker containers while preserving user accounting via wallet connections. Auth is important of course, as well as something we do not ever want to witness, a challenge across containers.

What's next for Bignoodle

As we do not plan to raise VC money, we're planning to launch our project officially via a TGE. We believe we can be the premiere AIxCrypto project on any chain, and become a household name for useful agents.
