Inspiration: Using our hobbies of playing games to make learning a fun experience.

What it does: It combines the popular minigame "Hangman" with biology, to enhance learning.

How we built it: We started from scratch, knowing close to nothing about HTML, JavaScript, or CSS. We learned the languages through multiple resources, such as educational websites and YouTube. The website's front-end is built by HTML and CSS, and the back-end uses JavaScript. The duties were split to front and back end jobs, with each of us dipping into the other ends every now and then.

Challenges we ran into: We ran into quite some challenges, as we were very new to these languages. Creating a pop-up window, implementing buttons into the website, creating a hangman game, just to name a few. However, we persevered and through our dedication, we managed to pull through.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are very proud of our final product itself, as it was both our first times experimenting or even touching the language and creating something out of it. Adding pop-ups and creating buttons were pretty cool accomplishments.

What we learned: We learned a lot from our 36 hours of coding. Through a well-driven effort and focused mindset, learning even languages like JavaScript in limited time is possible. Working on a project like this also requires immense teamwork, which all throughout the 36 hours, we really developed a good connection.

What's next for Big Hang Theory: We would love to improve and further evolve the website to achieve its full potential. It would be awesome to see children excited about it just as much as we are when we made it.
