Big Brother is Watching You

Inspiration

George Orwell

What it does

displays disorder in the background representing hypnotism and manipulation/propaganda. We also have two red eyes in the middle of the screen which symbolizes the idea of someone watching you at all times just like big brother in George Orwells book

How we built it

We used Verilogue and Quartus. To create the disorder we made a box and then iterated its position and color at fast speeds we also did not use the recommended margins which gave us the disorder we wanted.

Challenges we ran into

It took a long time to download the software and we were very new to this. Therefore we were very late compared to other groups, so we decided to stay positive and keep trying.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We did not let the fact that we were very late and had no idea what to do stop us and kept trying our best.

What we learned

We learned about color amplitudes, and how to create and use H and V signals and use them to create movement.

What's next for Big Brother is Watching You

We would love to create eyelids and have the eyes move from left to right.
