Big at Heart website

This is a website that includes specifications of the pillar that we have chosen, which is Big at Heart.

Inspiration

We were inspired by current informational websites like NSHub that is easy and intuitive to use. Using a main dashboard listing possible activities, such structure provides a convenient way to access services.

What it does

The website has registration for both volunteers and admins, a login page, a dashboard for volunteers which lists volunteer opportunities, feedback, and certificate request, displays hours done, includes a personal profile, and displays events completed.

For opportunities, a page listing a column of open opportunities is displayed, each clickable to show further content.

For feedback and certificate request, a simple straightforward one click action is needed to obtain the respective forms.

On the Admin side, to register a new admin, an existing admin needs to approve a request from a new registration to register them. An admin has their own dashboard too with opportunities creation, attendance, and report generation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A functional frontend and backend was produced which was done within the time frame.

What's next for Big at Heart website

More time would allow us to add some functionality as well as touch up on the UI.
