Inspiration

The inspiration for BidTrove stemmed from the need for a decentralized solution that streamlines the tender procurement process. Recognizing the inefficiencies and lack of transparency in traditional tendering systems, we were inspired to develop a DApp that leverages blockchain technology to enhance transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in tender listing and bidding.

What it does

BidTrove is a tender procurement DApp built on top of the Lisk network, serving as a decentralized platform for listing and bidding on tenders. It facilitates seamless interaction between tender issuers and bidders while ensuring transparency and trust through blockchain technology. Users can easily create, list, search for, and bid on tenders within the platform, streamlining the entire procurement process.

How we built it

We built BidTrove using a combination of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and user-friendly interfaces. The DApp is developed on top of the Lisk network, utilizing its layer 2 solutions for scalability and efficiency. Smart contracts are employed to manage the tender listing and bidding process securely, ensuring transparency and integrity. The frontend interface is designed for ease of use, providing a seamless experience for both tender issuers and bidders.

Challenges we ran into

During the development process, we encountered several challenges, including integrating with the Lisk network, designing a user-friendly interface, and ensuring the security of smart contracts. Additionally, optimizing the DApp for scalability and efficiency posed significant challenges. Overcoming these obstacles required thorough research, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving.
