Inspiration

Traditional delivery apps are broken. They choke small local businesses with 20%-30% commissions, inflate prices for users, and exploit independent couriers with unfair, algorithm-imposed rates. We created BIDSKO to balance the economic equation and give financial control back to the real players.

What it does

BIDSKO is a 360° software and physical marketing ecosystem powered by a Live Double-Reverse Auction engine.

  • Phase 1 (Goods): The user types a shopping list in free-text. An AI/NLP module instantly processes it to match local store digital inventories. Nearby shops compete live for 60 seconds, bidding lower prices to win the sale.
  • Phase 2 (Logistics): Independent couriers instantly bid down their delivery fee or accept dynamic pricing tailored to distance and demand. Everything is centralized into a single tracking screen featuring simultaneous double-chat (with both the store and the courier) to solve stock issues in real-time without cancellations.

How we built it

The system logic is designed on a 100% Serverless Architecture (AWS Lambda, SQS, Redis) ensuring infinite scaling and a $0 idle cost when no orders are active. Split-payments are automated via APIs like Stripe Connect or Adyen, taking a clean 10% commission from the store and 10% from the courier in autopilot.

Go-To-Market Strategy

To scale with zero budget, we designed an outdoor physical marketing kit (Neon QR signage) to be installed on participating storefronts. This turns physical stores into free advertising billboards, capturing high-intent street foot traffic and reducing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) to nearly zero.

Challenges I ran into

Designing a real-time, double-sided reverse auction system with an interface that remains completely simple, intuitive, and frictionless for both the consumer and the store manager.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Creating a fully comprehensive 360° product ecosystem, bridging digital software design (user, store, admin, courier) with an actionable, low-cost physical marketing guerrilla strategy.

What I learned

The power of serverless system design to guarantee infinite scalability while keeping operational maintenance infrastructure costs at an absolute minimum.

What's next for BIDSKO

Launching our initial local pilot test with 10 nearby convenience stores, automating the reverse-auction engine using the WhatsApp Business API to validate the model in a real market ecosystem.
