Inspiration

How can we reduce the carbon print in the world? One way would be to incentivize users who commute daily to take safer routes while commuting from point A to B. Bid$Rider$ would mainly focus on growing the electrical and autonomous vehicle industry. This would as a result reduce the carbon print as well as rewarding the users.

What it does

Bid$Rider$ allows users to dictate the price they want to pay in commuting from point A to B.

How we built it

Used popular open source bidding code. The code that was chosen allows the user to choose a price and a nearby driver can accept or decline the price. The code being adaptable to its environment can be changed in seconds and would as a result allow fair compensation to the drivers at the same time being friendly to the consumer.

What we learned

In the development of Bid$Rider$ the prior idea was to have a front end where the users puts a price and the app makes mathematical calculations and then can cushion the consumer to enable them to get to point B. However due to legality and market competition, a bidding algorithm may be chosen for the project.
