Inspiration

As a 75% woman team, we feel that though bunq's travel features provide a great holidaymaking experience, something that we often felt was missed out was safety.

What it does

BibbleBunq gives you a safety score for all the neighbourhoods of your current city.

How we built it

Used expo to make a bunq clone and flask to interact with various APIs and LLMs. Used crowdsourced data from HoodMaps, user input from Bunq's recommendation features and RSS feeds we created a comprehensive overview of the safety of a neighbourhood especially towards women.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into several challenges such as communicating between devices, and an unfamiliarity with LLM engineering.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a fully functional flask backend that interacted with both our expo frontend AND Nvidia's state of the art LLMs.

What we learned

We learnt about how technology could be used to make the world a better place for all.

What's next for BibbleBunq

More Bunq API integration in order to streamline recommendations of neighbourhoods.
