Inspiration
This story was born out of me listening to Ilaiyaraaja’s “Do Anything” music track. I trimmed the story down a little and made some changes to make it short and engaging for storytelling.
What it does
It is just like any other ordinary story, familiar yet fresh because I combined well known emotions with relatable scenes that I believe can easily connect with audiences across the globe.
How i built it
I used Google Flow and Veo 3.1 for video generation, Suno for the music, CapCut for editing, and ChatGPT to polish my prompts with correct grammar.
Challenges we ran into
I’m basically a software developer who’s into vibe coding, and I’ve always had a deep passion for filmmaking. But I had never tried using AI for video generation for any of my stories until now. This is my first attempt. It’s been quite challenging because the resources and credits are limited. I tried to improve the output each time, though I had to make a few compromises based on the videos the models generated. Maybe it’s my prompting skills, or maybe it’s the model, I’m not sure. But I kept refining the vision with each generation to get as close as possible to what I wanted. Overall, it’s been a mix of fun and frustration.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
After a long time, I finally made a short film, and I’m really happy about it.
What i learned
The development and growth of technology in the creative field is incredible, and I guess I need to learn more film related technical terms to become a better prompt writer if I ever use AI for future film projects.
What's next for Bhairava
