Beyond The Prompt Coda Ai Template

Inspiration

I was inspired by the ability to combine both Formulas and AI Prompts together in Coda. My users found the whole idea of "prompt engineering" to be a bit weird and difficult. So I thought I would try to simplify it all down to filling in a few details on a form.

What it does

The user enters a few lines of details; a list of parameters that define the topic and a list of sections they want the AI to respond with. These are combined using Coda Formulas to generate a prompt which is executed by the Coda AI system.

How we built it

Its just a few Coda tables and a single View - a super simple UI

Challenges we ran into

Figuring out how best to combine the list of parameters into a proper LLM prompt.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Many users report it is so easy to use and generates such impressive results that they are trying-out AI for the first time - and are not intimidated by it.

How little a prompt needs to contain for the LLM to understand what you want!

What's next for Beyond The Prompt Coda Ai Template

We want to continue to develop this to allow the user to have a set of "Global" parameters that are applied to every prompt (so they dont have to keep repeating them). We also want to be able to export the results to other applications using Coda's integration tools.
