As a student at The University of Texas 🧡🤘, you’ll take down rival mascots from OU, TAMU, and Georgia in this fast-paced, college rivalry showdown. Developed during HackTX 2024, this game is a tribute to Longhorn pride, showcasing UT's spirit while engaging players in retro-style gameplay.

📜 Overview In Bevo Blasters, you control Bevo, UT’s beloved mascot, to defend the universe against an invasion of rival mascots from OU, TAMU, and Georgia. Use your agility and precision to fire on these “invaders” before they descend! Each mascot represents the passion and rivalries that define UT pride, and this game is a way to show your school spirit while enjoying a fun twist on a classic.

🎮 Gameplay Objective: Score points by shooting as many invaders as possible before they reach you. Enemies: Represented by icons or mascots from rival schools like OU, TAMU, and Georgia. Controls: Simple keyboard controls for moving Bevo left and right, with a dedicated button for firing. Scoring: Points increase with each invader defeated — aim for a high score to show off your UT spirit! Levels: Progressive difficulty as you advance, making the invaders faster and more challenging.
