Between Every Two Moments

Inspiration

With AI I can take my poetry and transform it into song in a way I never imagined until it happened. And then to be able to create a music video by myself without the traditional tools... incredible.

What it does

This song is a guided meditation on the nature of time and the transcendent spirit that exists outside of time. It is also about beauty and creativity. Note that not only is Michelangelo's statue David part of the video, a statue of Michelangelo himself also appears.

How we built it

I used images generated in Leonardo.ai and Midjourney, and video clips created using Kling and RunwayML. The song is my own words set to music using Suno.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the right voice and feel for the words of a song still takes a fair bit of work. Sometimes a hundred takes. And that is just to get the begining of the song which then has to be extended in a way that follows through all the way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is not MTV. It is a guided journey that takes you outside of the bubble of time to look back on the mystery of creation.

What we learned

In making this I learned to blend AI with my own creations.

What's next for Crybaby

I am giving away this song and the album it is part of. I want the world to hear it. We could do with some more meaning and beauty in music and art these days.
