Inspiration

We were inspired by Mark Weisers quote about ubiquitous computing: "The most profound technologies are those that disappear. They weave themselves into the fabric of everyday life until they are indistinguishable from it." We believe that an agent should be proactive and helpful but next to unnoticeable. Initially, we were thinking about an agent role-playing an absent member. But it would be even better if the agent could not just provide you missing information, but also tell you who to reach out to. Because the best collaborations and the greatest ideas still happen while talking to other humans. And sometimes you just need the expert to make sense of the information they created.

What it does

Our agent not only gives you relevant information to the topic your discussion, but also tells you who in the company might be an expert for it and makes it easy for you to invite that person and fill them in. This way you have information but also find the expert, who might share his expertise with you.

How we built it

We used Mistral TTS for transcription and medium for intent recognition. Vercel for deployment. Coffee and a late night for creativity. The knowledge base would be a vector database like chroma DB, which would contain embeddings of all the documents of the company: notion, Jira, Confluence, wikis etc.. for whiteboard, photos and similar we would use Mistral OCR.

Challenges we ran into

Since we are only two people ideation was a bit easier, but prototyping and testing, as well as recording was harder. Time was a constraint.

After long ideation, we had an idea that we were happy with and proud of we believe in our vision.

Hopefully an actual prototype of the full pipeline - an agent that lives in your chat, ideally staying on premises or even local until the intent is recognised - giving you helpful recommendations and bringing the people in the company closer.
