What inspired me
Before building Better Coaching, I had already built AI Talk Coach, an AI coaching tool focused on helping people improve communication and speaking performance. That experience gave me a clear signal: people want coaching that is available instantly, personalized to their context, and far more affordable than traditional 1:1 formats.
Better Coaching was then shaped directly by Simon’s Better Creating brief. His request made the opportunity very concrete: build a minimalist, high-quality coaching experience that feels frictionless, practical, and immediately useful for real users—not a complex setup process.
So this project is both an evolution and a response:
- an evolution of what I learned from AI Talk Coach (demand, behavior, and product gaps), and
- a focused answer to Simon’s request for a simple, elegant AI coaching product his audience would genuinely use.
The result is a two-sided AI coaching marketplace where experts can publish monetized AI coaches, and users can access trusted guidance on demand.
