  AI analysis of a climbing wall poblem

Inspiration

Me and my friend Arabel love to climb together. For this project, we took our climbing joys as our main inspiration for creating Beta Climbs.

What it does

Beta Climbs has several features: AI scan for rock climb holds, AI suggestion on route planning, login authentication, real working backend for fetching user data, real time data collection as well as script execution, 8+ working screens that include home, club, add, leaderboard, you, login etc., storing images, classifying rock wall problems, and many more!

How we built it

We used react native and expo to launch our app's frontend. We used firebase as the backend source. We also used python for script execution.

Challenges we ran into

Expo camera was very funky, could not get it to work and had to opt for file upload, time constraints,

What's next for Beta Climbs

Maybe keep developing it to launch it in the App Store, its still pretty unpolished, could touch up on the design and backend code.
