Clippin

🌱 Inspiration

Clippin was born from a very personal frustration. My girlfriend saves tons of TikTok and Instagram content for our trips, but once we’re actually traveling, it’s almost impossible to find those saved cafés, restaurants, or activities among all the content.
We also traveled with friends and shared places and videos in a big Instagram group chat — but it quickly became messy and unorganized. That’s why I built Clippin: an app where everyone can import social content into a shared trip, keeping all discoveries in one clean, interactive map.

✨ What it does

Clippin automatically extracts places from TikTok and Instagram links and organizes them on a personalized map.

• Travelers can filter by type (restaurants, cafés, attractions).
  
• Save details like addresses and sources.
  
• And with shared trips, friends can contribute their own links to the same map, creating a collaborative travel guide.

• AI pipeline to detect and extract location names from TikTok/Instagram links.
