Inspiration

I am sports lover and I rep Liverpool (Messi is still the best player lol). What if i Don't need to go to a betting shop to bet on the next match which i am sure Chelsea would win? What if I want to do all the betting without ever leaving my wallet? In our quest to provide solutions to these questions and tap into the 200billion industry we created bet3. A platform the cuts across technologies, multiple chains and the metaverse.

What it does

Bet3 functions as a decentralised football match prediction shop. Users stake their play token in our platform in order to participate or play out their predictions. Also, bet3 provides an NFT lottery platform where users stake their chances at winning exclusive football player NFTs

How we built it

Using polygon we deployed our smart-contracts, We Built and Hosted our front end using moralis, We Used nft.storage provided by filecoin to house our NFT metadata. we provide in-dapp swaps using our inbuilt swap function. Also, we Aggregated sports data used for betting from sportsdata.io we used the four chainlink services in our project (vrf, data nodes, keepers and price feeds)

1. There are not much blockchain related materials related to onchain soccer match prediction
2. Limited time
3. Funds

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We fully built out a website to showcase our product while tweaking the contracts and UI for perfection

What we learned

A lot. We were able to understand several possibilities of blockchain solutions and their application in the web2 space.

What's next for Bet-3

A step into a multi chain dapp A venture into the Meterverse. Providing ability for users to bet on live onchain match happening in the metaverse as well as being virtually present in the stadia to see Thier team win
