Inspiration

AI image and video workflows are often fragmented across separate providers, interfaces, and request formats. BestImage.AI was created to give developers and creators one place to explore multiple generative media models and connect them to applications through a consistent API.

What it does

BestImage.AI supports text-to-image, image-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video workflows. Users can work with model families and providers including Flux, Seedream, Nano Banana, Veo, and Wan, depending on the media task and desired output.

The browser workspace is intended for direct experimentation, while the API supports repeatable application workflows. A typical process includes selecting a model, validating prompts or reference files, submitting a generation request, tracking its status, and reviewing the returned asset.

How it was built

The product uses a unified application layer to present different image and video generation options through a shared workflow. This separates model selection from the surrounding product logic and makes it easier to compare providers without rebuilding the complete integration for each one.

Challenges

Different generative media models support different inputs, parameters, processing times, and output formats. Creating a consistent experience requires preserving model-specific capabilities while keeping the main workflow understandable. Image and video results also require review for prompt adherence, visual consistency, and small-detail accuracy.

What was learned

A unified interface is most useful when it does not hide meaningful differences between models. Clear model selection, validation, status tracking, and output review are important parts of a reliable generative media workflow.

Future work will focus on expanding model options, improving comparison workflows, and refining the API experience for production use.
