Inspiration

We discussed about the daily issuess we have been through, we found out that the groceries tracking (including remembering expired date for distinct items under different storage way, repurchasing items with their own frequency) can be annoying while suffering from the schoolwork

What it does

Hence, we try to build a application that can assist people to keep an eye on the grocery situation. Besides, the APP can also can be extended into a small block widget that placed on the phone desktop.

How we built it

We used some knowledge we learned from last week workshop, plus some code we searched from the internet.

Challenges we ran into

We were quite determined to the topic and direction we are going to make. Hence, we put most our effort in realising our thoughts, including gathering code from the internet, testing, debugging and merging branches with each other.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though we haven't finished the whole project yet, but in this two-day period, we are still happy about we completed some functions we could use in the final product rather than just some testing functions.

What we learned

Through this Hackiethon, we learned knowledge about React structure and some useful package, ex: Carousel, in React, some product designexperience and, the most important, cooperating efficiently to build some product in a short time.

What's next for BestBefore

In our picture, we can develop the repurchasing reminder and embed into any schedule people prefer to use in a near future. In a long term, we plan to build our own server and database to serve users 24/7 and some recommoding systems to cooperate with different business partners.
