Best Building Buddy

Inspiration

My inspiration for Best Building Buddy came from seeing how difficult it can be to learn, but many understand and learn and engage better when building something. I wanted to create something to make the building process more fun and intuitive.

What it does

Best Building Buddy is an AI assistant that gives real-time building advice and suggestions as they construct a project. It analyzes the player's building style, makes recommendations, and offers tips to improve the build.

How we built it

Partyrock, Claude, and LOTS of testing...

Challenges we ran into

It was also difficult to make the suggestions general enough to apply to many different building scenarios and styles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The assistant is designed to be helpful without being overly intrusive or limiting creativity.

What we learned

I learned a lot about applying AI techniques like machine learning to real-world applications. I gained valuable experience in prompt engineering.

What's next for Best Building Buddy

Next steps for Best Building Buddy include expanding the range of builds the AI can provide advice on, improving the natural language capabilities, and potentially integrating it into plugins to real-time advice as they build directly.
