Inspiration

Bermuda's mission is to return the right to privacy back to blockchain's most loyal and engaged users, while continuing to build out the future of Web3 privacy.

• We believe in the fundamental right to user privacy and the protection of personal data and are passionate about building it.
• The recent breakthroughs in Zk application on other blockchains, such as Penumbra and CowSwap, inspired our team and we wanted to put our minds toward evolving the technology.
• All DEX transactions on Solana are currently public and some aggregators have been tracking user behavior and selling the insights without the user having a choice.

What it does

Bermuda is a Private DEX built on Solana that leverages the existing ecosystem primitives to allow users to trade privately.

How we built it

Bermuda's three main components are its Zk-proof architecture, its sealed-bid batch-auction aggregator, which encrypts transactions in batches. And its threshold multi-party-computation decryption, which is what lets Bermuda’s ShieldSwap still use Serum and Orca’s liquidity to settle private transactions.
