Inspiration

Our inspiration was to test the absolute limits of AI filmmaking. We wanted to see if we could create a photorealistic, full-scale music video that was indistinguishable from a traditional production, all without a single camera, human actor, or real-world location. The song "Berlin is Berlin" was the perfect canvas to explore this duality between the "real" and the "synthetic."

How We Built It

This music video is a 100% synthetically generated work. Every scene, from the wide aerials of the Brandenburg Gate to the intimate studio close-ups, was created using AI tools.

The artist herself, "Xielia Tanuvic," is not a real person. She is a fully original AI persona we designed and directed. Our process was one of "virtual cinematography," using text and image prompts to direct the AI's "camera," lighting, and her performance. The final scenes were then edited and composited in traditional video software.

Challenges We Faced

The primary challenge was consistency and photorealism. Avoiding the "uncanny valley" and ensuring Xielia looked like the same person in every single frame was a massive undertaking. It required a meticulous process of iteration, curation, and creative prompting to guide the AI away from "gimmicks" and toward a high-production-value output.

What We Learned

We learned that AI can be a true partner in creative control. This project, the artist, the music, the world, is an "output" of "human creativity" using AI to "unlock new possibilities." It's a cinematic piece that, we hope, blurs the line between human creativity and machine-made filmmaking.## Inspiration

What's next for Berlin is Berlin

This video is the first chapter of a larger cinematic universe currently in production, titled Xielia Returns... a continuing exploration of AI-generated filmmaking, storytelling, and performance. The next installment will push deeper into narrative structure and emotional realism, expanding Xielia’s world beyond music into dialogue, memory, and identity.
