While talking about what upper division courses we wanted to take, we wondered what courses we needed to take to take them. When we looked up the prerequisites on the Berkeley Course website, we found more courses that we hadn't yet taken. It was really annoying to figure out a plan for what to take, as we had to keep clicking through a series of links. We wondered why no one had mapped out these prerequisites in a tree structure-- it was a need dying to be met!
So that's what we set out to do. Right now, the course data only includes the MATH, EE, CS, PHYS departments, but we definitely hope to add the whole course catalog.
