Bengaluru House prices predictor

Inspiration

I saw so many people asking around for houses for sale and not many of them get good rates. Because of this, I wanted to help them by providing an application that can tell them how much houses go for in a particular area with their choice of features

What it does

It takes in various parameters of a house and predicts the price of the house based on these parameters

How we built it

Used jupyter notebook to create model, and python flask framework to display it

Challenges we ran into

Dependencies were not installed and gave lots of bugs

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I pulled through and was able to build the project in a short notice

What we learned

Postponement never helps, and its better to get started early, also learnt the basics of python framework and the real life applications of concepts like feature omission, feature split and data extraction

What's next for Bengaluru House prices predictor

I wish to incorporate more areas, and create a predictor in more cities. Also wish to make a more interactive UI so that everything works smoothly
