Inspiration
Philanthropy believes in the love of humanity. It is based on helping people and the environment for a long period of time. Bloomberg also believes in helping the world through their work and they take measures for the welfare and the betterment of the world. We can relate philanthropy with different acts of altruism including but not limited to charity, volunteering etc.
What it does
The objective of the project is to uplift Bloomberg’s objective toward philanthropy and engage the consumers in activities that help in the welfare of the others as well as in the environment in particular. We believe, that only by helping each other we can come out of the current pandemic situation; hence this app will also have a dedicated section for the current pandemic. This app also has a dedicated section which rewards our dedicated customers for their hard work and contribution.
How we built it
Front-end: Unity, C# Backend: MySQL/Oracle/Microsoft Azure Workflow: ETL tools like Alteryx, Talend, Snaplogic etc Visualization: PowerBI, Tableau Secured Transactions: Third party APIs.

Project Scope While this is a demo project designed exclusively for the HackaTUM 2021, the project can be extended to include other functionalities and external stakeholders to make it more global. It contains the basic idea and functionalities for a successful implementation. 1.1.3.1 In Scope functionalities • Registration/Deregistration of the customers • Activity selection according to the customer’s need • Earn Points by contributing, donating, volunteering etc. • Conversion of the points to the rewards according to the reward-based algorithm. • Additional perks and rewards for the top contributors • Promotion by referrals • Advertisement for better exposure • Statistics for User Profile Details 1.1.3.2 Out of Scope functionalities • Incorporation of other widgets like maps etc. • Search for other members by establishing database connection. • Archival and retrieval of activities 1.2 Business Perspective From the business perspective, this app will help boost Bloomberg’s view of philanthropy to enhance connectivity among users, Bloomberg and other organizations. It also helps generate revenue from external stakeholders who wish to invest and be a part of the project. This can also help in better networking with organizations with various interests. It will also help the organization to have a better reach to the people.
