Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project was all of the people who are currently struggling finically due to the recent pandemic. We wanted to create a way that people can support people so that we all have access to the help and medical attention we may need.

What Is Benefit

Benefit Is an app that allows people to locate there nearest hospital and use AR technology to view the exterior so that when you arrive you know exactly where to enter and receive the help you may need. The app also allows its user to share their medical journeys and ask for donations to any bills that may be greatly effect their life,

How Did We Create It

Using react native we and other languages such as swift we designed and coded a basic app structure that can be used as a demo for the app we one day hope to create

Challenges We Ran Into

One challenge we ran into along the way was just figuring out how we could fit all of these amazing aspects into the app but after a lot of hard work and determination we were able to add all of our wanted features.

What We Accomplished

We are proud of all that we accomplished. Coding the app in a very short amount of time was hard and it took a lot of perseverance and coffee but when we finished it was definitely worth having lost a couple hours of sleep

What We Learned

We learned that when you have a good group of people who support one another and who want to make a difference in this world that even though we not all be together we can still work together to create a hack that we are very proud of.

What's Next For Benefit

We are definitely hoping to continue to design and code the app as well as looking for potential sponsors who would be willing to help us raise money for the patients who are in need all over the world.
