Behavior Design Assistant

Inspiration

I am a designer and I use the Behavior Design process to create solutions to drive positive behavior change. Behavior Design Assistant is my attempt to make the Behavior Design process accessible to everyone, helping people to learn the process and design better solutions for good.

What it does

Behavior Design Assistant App helps people create ideas for behavior change. It guides users through the Behavior Design Process from identifying a target behavior to defining a solution.

How we built it

I've built the app using my knowledge of the Behavior Design process and PartyRock's awesome interface. I made sure to include prompts to prevent users from creating malicious ideas.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the process, I ran tens of trials. As with most of the apps created with LLMs, getting consistently good outputs is challenging. I had to edit my prompts many times.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After tens of trials, with my experience, I can say the Behavior Design Assistant App is coming up with pretty solid solutions for real-world issues. I use chain-promoting techniques to create high-quality outcomes.

What we learned

This was a great experience for me to master chain prompting.

What's next for Behavior Design Assistant

I will ask my network to try the app and provide feedback so I can iterate the flow, copy, and prompts. If successful, I am planning to turn this into a comprehensive web app run on AWS.
