Inspiration
We were inspired to try new python material and add fun graphics to the command line mini game.
How we built it
We thought about ways to make the game more interactive and advanced. So we added onto the hangman game with a random word generator library and fun graphics including barn doors, turnips, and of course, Clover!
Challenges we ran into
- Formatting the ASCII characters
- Correctly parsing through for loops and binary operators.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Working together to solve each other's problems. If I had an issue I would show her and vice versa. One of us had never used a github repository before so it was a good learning experience.
What we learned
One of us had never used Python before and the other had just been introduced to it. We got to learn more about Python and how to utilize functions across files.
What's next for Beginners Hack Mini Game
We would like to make the rock, paper, scissors game more efficient and add more fun trivia facts that we get from datasets.
