Before The Night Falls

Before The Night Falls - Trailer

Inspiration

It is there, yet intangible. We observe it from afar. It, from a little closer. With the announced arrival of AGI, humanity stands at the edge of an unprecedented upheaval, still difficult to fully grasp.

What will the world of tomorrow look like? How will we face it? Will we be reduced to the rank of a fallen civilization?

This reflection is what sparked this project — where past civilizations, caught in the midst of human turmoil, find themselves confronted, together, with something far greater. With the Unknown.

The paradigm is shifting.

And with Before The Night Falls, we ask: what if this moment had already happened — long ago?

What it does

Before The Night Falls blends historical drama with speculative sci-fi, exploring identity, belief, and the limits of human understanding — through war, silence, and impossible contact. It is immersive, visual, philosophical, and deeply human.

How we built it

The visual world was crafted using Midjourney for cinematic concept design, and Kling for early motion development. Video editing was made on Adobe Premiere, music on Suno, and sound design with Epidemic Sound.

Challenges we ran into

Keeping the tone grounded. Our biggest challenge was balancing a monumental sci-fi premise with authentic 8th-century emotion and realism — ensuring that fear, awe, and silence could feel as powerful as spectacle.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a complete, original series universe where no two worlds should meet — yet they do. Before The Night Falls dares to explore what happens when warriors, monks, queens and kings come face to face with something unfathomable. A poetic sci-fi thriller rooted in mud, steel, blood and prayer.

The full season 1 arc is complete, with season 2 deeply outlined, and character development, world-building, and visual identity fully established. We're proud to have created a vision both wildly cinematic and spiritually resonant — ready for international development.

What we learned

What you don’t show is often more powerful than what you do. True tension lives in what we can't name. And when multiple truths collide — myth, faith, logic — storytelling becomes transcendent.

What's next for Before The Night Falls

We’re now preparing to partner with production teams and studios to bring this story to screen. With an international outlook and a complete development bible, Before The Night Falls is ready to become a bold, immersive series — one that redefines what historical sci-fi can be.
